Here are the occasions where players have been able to take control of Spider-Man's foes to either assist as anti-heroes or unleash chaos by embracing their villainous side. With Insomniac currently at the helm of the Marvel's Spider-Man series, and the symbiote saga expected to play a major role in the upcoming sequel Marvel's Spider-Man 2, many rumors have been circulating about whether fan-favorite villain-turned-antihero Venom could be a playable character alongside both Peter and Miles' versions of Spider-Man.
